Recently, our travel consultants, Maureen, Carol, & Rita, headed out to see what Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth ship was all about! Needless to say, they had a great time, and have all the details for you!
Maureen, Rita, & Carol loved the feel of the ship – from it’s wood decor bringing a warm, & inviting feeling, to the size of the ship. Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth is smaller, meaning you’ll have a more intimate experience, and not have to fight the crowds, like on the bigger ships.
It was easy to relax onboard, with many things to do. They have a beautiful area to get manicures & pedicures, with views overlooking your ocean voyage! It’s hard not to relax when this is what you see!
Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth ship is geared towards a more mature guest. One who is happy to leave the phone alone, and enjoy some theatre, or spend time in the library (which has a gorgeous spiral staircase leading up to the next floor!). There is a small children’s play area for those times, like holidays, that can entertain the kids, however, due to their demographic, the amount of children on board is around 10 – 12. Families & the semi-retired alike can all enjoy Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth ship in comfort!
Onboard this ship, there are a variety of dress codes, depending on the day, or what your event is! At some points, you can head down to your delicious buffet dinner in your pj’s or comfy clothes, and others, you can get all dolled up, put on some lipstick, and dance the night away in their night club!
Our 3 lovely travel consultants had a great time on their tour of Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth! She will be sailing from Vancouver to Alaska on their 10-day plus voyage, starting in 2020! You won’t want to miss out on this exquisite ship! Click here for more information!
